How We Ship
Every order is made fresh at our McKees Rocks shop, then flash-frozen and packed into an insulated box with dry ice. Boxes ship via UPS or FedEx Ground and arrive within 1–3 business days from the time they leave the shop.
Order Cutoffs & Transit
We pack and ship Monday through Wednesday, so your order arrives before the weekend. Orders placed:
- Sunday – Tuesday by 12 PM ET ship the same week.
- After Tuesday at 12 PM ET ship the following Monday.
We do not ship Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday — frozen product should not sit in a warehouse over a weekend.
Where We Ship
We currently ship to all 48 contiguous United States. We do not yet ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally. Local to Pittsburgh? Pick up at the counter — call 412-331-9531 or select In-Store Pickup at checkout.
Shipping Rates
Standard shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Gift boxes and bundles marked Free Shipping include shipping in the price.
When Your Box Arrives
Your order will arrive cold to the touch with dry ice still in the box. Unpack immediately and move sausage to the freezer (for storage) or refrigerator (if cooking within 2 days). Dry ice is safe to handle briefly with gloves — let any remaining pieces sublimate in a well-ventilated area.
If your box arrives warm, with broken packaging, or otherwise compromised, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@riccisausage.com and we'll make it right.
Tracking Your Order
You'll receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number when your box leaves the shop. You can also sign in to your account to check status anytime.
